Marka Glass Studio will be opening inside The Gallery in downtown Ocean Springs offering a variety of glass artwork, glass décor, and providing local glass artists a place to create and fire their own glass pieces.
Marka Glass makes original, hand-made jewelry including pendants and bracelets, wall art, vases, bowls and flatware, as well as, custom glass tiles for the home, kitchen, bath or pool. In addition to creating these works of art, the studio will also be open to other glass artists who need a kiln or saw. The studio features a Phase 10 Paragon Glass Kiln and a diamond blade ban saw which can be leased by local artists. Marka Glass Studio is an authorized Delphi Glass distributor so that local glass artists can order their Bullseye glass directly from Marka Glass to avoid paying shipping charges.
The studio will also offer patrons a unique opportunity to make their own glass jewelry. Choosing from one of many designs or by creating a design themselves, anyone can design and fire a new piece in about an hour.
